About Your Teacher

Hey, I’m James. I’m the founder of Matchfit Conditioning, a Bachelor of Sports Science, football strength and conditioning expert and former national level footballer.

I believe in making strength and conditioning simple and accessible to players who have the desire and drive to do extra training alone and grab their development by the scruff of the neck.

question What equipment will I need?
Our programme is designed to be as accessible as possible for all players. 

All gym based sessions include equipment that you will find in any standard gym, if you find an exercise you are unable to do simply email us at info@matchfitconditioning.com and we’ll give you an alternative. The only exception is a suspension trainer or TRX which is required for a few exercises – again we can offer you alternatives if you are unable to get hold of one.
All field based sessions can literally be done with a set of markers and a ball. In our videos we use poles, hurdles, ladders and mannequins, but you by no means have to do this. For example where we use a hurdle you can simply place a cone down as a marker and copy the same action. 
So in a nutshell, you will require a minimum of access to a gym and a set of 15-20 markers to be able to do everything in this programme.
question How will I receive my Programme?
Once you have completed the checkout and payment process and successfully purchased the programme, the download links for each of the 7 elements of the programme will be emailed instantly to the email address you provided at checkout and a pop up box will also give you the option of downloading all programmes straight away and saving to drop box.
